dissapearing act

I didn't mean to vanish, but it felt good, let me tell you.
I've felt good, and so I've run around like a crazy person trying to get life under control, from not feeling good for 2 whole months.

We were thankful. Very thankful. Turkey and yams Thankful.
Overflowing obedient heart thakful.
My son rocks a bow tie. Just so you know.

Im a Christmas shopping ninja.
Debating not doing Christmas cards this year, and using that money for something good.
Something more eternal than Christmas cards.
The holidays look different this year, updating our Christmas style, finally.
White white white. Then more white.
Vintage ornament boxes piled high.
Praying intensely for marriages. Lots of marriages.
Thankful for mine, for the gift of submitting to his authority.
Thankful for a husband who doesn't abuse his authority.
Lots of movie rental, gift wrapping, date nights.
A couple meals with gluten, as I slowly reintroduce.
To see if that was the problem.
A sick boy. Thats happy as can be, but we need some answers about all of that.
The post office and I are meeting up today. Not much I hate more than that.
Rylans dreaming of an ironing board and vacuum cleaner for Christmas.

We are working the truth in the tinsel advent program for the kids.
I love it. Simple, sweet, quality time.
We were honored to be godparents to a friends baby the other night.
Praying that the Lord meets him early, and uses him in crazy ways.
There are rumors around here, about the Coffee family, coming back this week.
For another precious baby boy. We've bought stockings for them, and are hoping its true.
