your inching up on a year and a half. slowly. but your getting there.
the last thing I want to look back on and see is that I only remember how hard you are. Cause son (and I only use the word son, when Im really loosing my mind) you are HARD.
but your also amazing...
your charming, kid.. with a big fat C. everyone that sees you, loves you. well probably not the nursery workers, but thats a whole nother story. But every waitress, every person in the market, everyone on our street, you waddle along with big wide expressions big smiles, and tip toe... everywhere you go.. leaving a big impression.
your cute. seriously seriously cute. your hair is always tossled, you always have food on your face, clothes have buttoned (cause your the squirmest screaming dresser, I know), but who cares... your stinking Cute. \
You love balls, and airplanes, and helicopters, wheels, gadgets, outdoors, and food. You have a boy attitude, boy spirit, boy appetite, boy boy boy... and you my son, love cuddles..... just like daddy. and ... you LOVE me. A lot. Thank you for that.
I keep reminding myself as you cling to me at church, at the park, at the house while I make dinner, when one day I'll I would want is for you to rest your head on my shoulder, and cling to my arm... I keep reminding myself. I love how much you need me... even if its hard somedays.
You don't have many words yet, BALL, Dada, RRRRR (for Ry), .. and you make a lot of noise, you blow raspberries, foam at the mouth, make snake noises, blabber jabber all day long.. I can't wait to hear what your voice voice sounds like. I can't wait.
You sleep good now. Thank goodness. You need about a 4 hour nap like sissy, and you sleep from 7:30-8:30..then you and sissy giggle and talk in the mornings.. its one of my favorite sounds... you almost always sneeze when you wake up.. and Rylan always blesses you.
I see a lot of characteristics in you that I hope build. Your adventurous, your loving, your super super silly,
you need down time, and you stick close to family. I pray for a lot of things for you too, but I have no doubt you know that by now...
Well I want to post some pictures of you, nothing portrait worthy boy.. but ones that make me smile and that I think look just like you now, messy, happy.. and busy!! Plus you like to be closer to me than my focal length allows... so most of them are blurry, just cause you can't stand being to far from me.... lucky me.
If you ever wonder how wanted you were little one, I dare you to look at this that mommy wrote long ago... it looks just like you, and shows my heart for you, far before Sissy was ever in the picture! God is so faithful to us, bringing us you.
I love you Cade, and its sure fun watching you grow, and keep up with Rylan, your going to give her one big run for money! Thats for sure.

He reminds me SO much of my Ethan :) I tell myself that same thing daily when I am very annoyed at the constant "mama hooooolllllddddd you"... that one day I'll be longing for a simple touch from him.
I have to say.... FOUR HOUR NAPSn plus 13 hours at night? You have got some fantastic sleepers on your hands... wow! I've often wondered how you are able to craft and create such amazing things. I think the four hour naps must have a hand in that ;) Can I have some of your magic sleep dust for my kids? :)

Cade looks so similar to Ry, yet he also looks *so* *much* like those baby pictures of Nick! Seriously love the phone pics...he is sooooo cuteness personified in small boy!!

Oh. My. Word. Cuteness quota has now been met for the day. Les, it kills me how cute and just how very boy he is. I just want to reach through the screen and kiss those squishy cheeks right up. And friend, if you can learn to love and appreciate the hard days/months/stages of life like this...I think you may have really found the secrect to lasting joy.
