there is this really cool thing about being a parent
something no one ever told me
something I wasn't prepared for
whenever your child does something
one of those "IT" things
something that makes you swell up with pride for them
something that brings on a good belly laugh
something that brings a tear to your eye
immediately it makes you wish
you were there,
with the person that you
created this child with
so you could experience it together
my children are my magnet to my spouse
they make me want to be closer to him
and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt
that no one ever
would enjoy
that smile, that giggle, whatever "IT" is...
more than him
